Hey there, it’s me Rachel. To sum it all up I am a person of passion. I am in a pursuit to love and live with a generous dose of laughter.
My Story
Everyone wants to be someone’s favorite. I was born prematurely, but even at this early age according to my parents, I possessed a fighting spirit. As I grew-up, I desperately fought thoughts of rejection and depression. I felt that I needed to fight for attention, fight to be favored, fight to be loved. I grew-up around the things of God, attending church out of compulsion and not desire. I hadn’t discovered there was Someone who had fought the greatest fight for me because He loved me so much. He fought to the death so that I could have an abundant life and know His favor.
At sixteen years of age, I experienced a sovereign visitation of God’s manifest presence outside of a fast food restaurant in Novato (which will remain anonymous at this time, but you can still see me eating there from time to time). After that outpouring of personal love, I chose to follow the Lord wherever He would lead. With my parents’ permission, I packed my belongings and relocated to this new town in order to get a fresh start on life. My uncle and aunt graciously took me in and became my spiritual parents during this new season.
My passion for people, nations, and ministry began to flourish. I went on to attend Christian Life International Bible College and receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministerial Arts with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling. It was during this time that I met my most amazing, good-looking (movie-star status) husband, Caleb. Together we have enjoyed ministering as Youth Pastors, College Pastors, and Associate Pastors and now serve as the Lead Pastors of New Life Church in Novato.
I am an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. I actively preach and teach in our local church and area and am currently serving as the campus pastor of New Life Church San Francisco. Along with my husband, I have traveled extensively and ministered internationally including: Congo, Russia, India, Argentina, and more.
My passion is to see the body of Christ stirred to walk in their full inheritance in Christ. To possess all He is and all He has promised. To realize that they too, are one of His favorites.

Inspire
The name of my game is inspiration. I desire that each person walks away filled with more hope, more faith, and more love.
Together
Two are better than one. Especially when you get to do ministry with your spouse. Together, we pastor New Life Church in Novato.
Greatest Achievement
My greatest achievement: my kids. I know you think this may just be a mama’s sappy post, but Ben and Phebe mean the world to me and are some of the most fun and kind people I know. You can ask anyone around our lives, just in case you think this is simply a mama’s boast.
Other Fascinating Facts
I hold a Master’s Degree in Life Coaching and Mentorship. Personally, I have always wanted to have a life coach, so why not become one? Seriously, I hope my life is a constant inspiration and practical help to those around me.
I have also been a group fitness enthusiast for years. I love being part of a team, and the energy of a group all working hard together. In 2017, I made the decision to pursue a Group Fitness Certification with ACE. I also obtained my certification in Spinning by Mad Dogg Athletics, Insanity by BeachBody, and Sprint by Les Mills.
I believe exercise is for all ages, stages, and is often an overlooked area in the church community In regards to whole person health. My hope is that my enthusiasm for fitness is contagious and that this world is filled with healthier and happier people because of it.
Coffee. Did I mention coffee? I really do love coffee. What’s even better than a cup of coffee? Coffee with friends. And you can top that with coffee with friends while on a walk.
